I’m beyond excited to share with you the incredible experience I had with the dynamic duo, Kathleen and Christopher. The experience with Kathleen and Christopher is the definition of what it is like to work with me. I hope sharing this experience gives you an insight on me as your photographer for your own documentary engagement photos!

What to expect at your Documentary Engagement Photos

So what can you expect from my style of photography? Capturing love in every frame is my passion, and I do it through my candid and documentary style of photography. I believe in going beyond just taking pictures. I aim to truly see the love between my couples and document it in its purest form. Through my photography, I strive to capture not just what my couples look like, but who they are. Preserving moments that reflect the depth of their connection and the joy they share. Whether it’s a quiet moment between the couple or a playful interaction with their furry friend, I am there to document it all with honesty and heart. Kathleen and Christopher were amazing and I am so happy I got to capture their love.

From the get-go, I knew Kathleen and Christopher were something special. Kathleen’s bubbly personality had me grinning from ear to ear, while Christopher’s quiet charm added a touch of sweetness to the mix. Together, they radiated warmth and love, making it impossible not to feel the excitement bubbling up inside me.

Let’s Start at the Beginning: The Consultation Call

Let me tell you about our consultation call! It was supposed to be a quick chat but it turned into a two-hour-long conversation filled with laughter. Kathleen and I hit it off instantly, chatting away like old friends catching up after years apart. And Christopher? Well, he may be shy, but his love for Kathleen spoke volumes, weaving a beautiful thread of connection between us. This is a perfect example of how I vibe with my couples, creating a space where it feels comfortable and fun.

The Documentary Engagement Session Unfolds

Fast forward to the documentary engagement photo day, and oh my gosh, it was amazing!! We chose Powers Farm in Randolph, MA , it provided the perfect backdrop for capturing moments of love and laughter. Despite it being December it was actually warm and cloudy that day. As a photographer, cloudy skies are my favorite conditions to shoot in. They create a soft, diffused light that makes every shot glow with warmth and intimacy.

During the session, Kathleen and Christopher were up for anything, eagerly diving into every crazy pose and spontaneous idea I threw their way. We laughed until our sides hurt, and created memories that will last a lifetime. I truly felt like I wasn’t working that day. I felt like I was hanging out with these good old friends who are just the coolest people on earth! Let me tell you, when they decided to do an outfit change, it was like stepping into a whole new level of fun and excitement. Their willingness to switch things up added an extra spark to the session, allowing us to capture even more incredible moments together.

The Real Star of the Engagement Session

I can’t forget to tell you about the real star of the show. Eli, Kathleen and Christopher’s adorable fur baby! From the moment Eli bounded onto the scene, it was clear that this session was about to get a whole lot cuter. Let me tell you, she was a natural in front of the camera! Her sweet, soulful eyes and happy-go-lucky demeanor captured the essence of the love shared between Kathleen and Christopher.

Gratitude and Excitement

As we wrapped up the documentary engagement photos I couldn’t help but feel a surge of gratitude for the incredible experience I had shared with Kathleen and Christopher. Their trust in me, their enthusiasm for the shoot, and their genuine love for each other made it a session I’ll never forget. And as I look forward to documenting their Cape Cod wedding later this year, I do so with a heart full of excitement and anticipation for their wedding..

So, to Kathleen and Christopher, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your love story. And to all you adventurers out there, searching for someone to capture your own love story, reach out to me! I want to be part of your story! Here’s to love, laughter, and happily ever afters.
